If you're ready to work in one of Britain's busiest and best regional newsrooms then we're ready to take you on.

We're looking for a trainee reporter to join our team of reporters at the South Wales Argus and Free Press.

You'll need all your NCTJ prelims, including 100wpm shorthand. You'll have a great nose for news, the ability to bring in off-diary stories, and you'll understand that journalism in the digital age is about far more than paper and ink.

We'll provide one of the best news patches in the country and the training to help you go as far as you want in journalism.

You will need at least A-levels. Most of all you will be able to show a track record of experience of newsrooms through contact and work placement.

If you believe you can shine out then contact Editor's PA Anne Dickie for an application form to be considered for an interview.
